Ran Lerner is an award winning, prolific and accomplished industrial designer, graduated from the prestigious Domus Academy in Milan, earning his Master’s Degree in 1998. He made his debut in the New York design community in 1999, and has since established himself internationally as a dynamic and innovative designer.
Professional Experience In 2004, Lerner founded his award-winning design studio in New York. His work emphasizes accessibility, blending functionality with a distinct sense of his aesthetic forms, Lerner is best known for the witty sensibility of his popular designs.
The work is based on the core concept of interaction of product and user, Encouraging “Touch” and emphasis on “Relationship” of human to object. Lerner also promotes eco- friendly manufacturing by the efficient use of materials, and low energy fabricating technologies. His work often includes affordable, multi-functional items designed for the public.
Lerner holds several utility and design patents, showcasing his innovation and commitment to advancing designs that are long-lasting.

Teaching and Mentorship In addition to his design work, Ran Lerner is a dedicated educator. He has taught industrial design at several universities, including Parsons School of Design, the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), and New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT).
